District 9 is about aliens who come down to earth and passes all the normal cities finally running out of power right ontop of the city of johannesburg where they later are brought down to earth by Humans due to their health. 20 years later and their still on earth but have now adapted. They have learned the language and can now communicate with the humans. They have become a burden or "international refugees"

This movie is worth the watch. Though I wouldn't recomend bringing the kids along.
