This is the State Parliament Building in Kuching. It's meant to be a new Icon in Kuching, like the Eiffel Tower or the Sdyney Opera House. The State Goverment Spent almost RM400 million on this massive building. Money that could of been put to better use.

It looks really Beautiful(in my opinion) especially at night.

It does make the waterfront look better. But it's really really massive!

It over-shadows the Fort Margherita and the Istana( the palacce)
The Old DUN and the new DUN are a stone throws away from each other.

Today was pretty good, had eng and geo tests. english didn go that great but i think i did pretty well in geo. after that stephen and i wanted to go spring. then i said,"hey why don't we use the new bus?" he said yea. so we made plans!! hahaha

He came to my house around 2.30 then we made fun of the P.E ppl cause they still have to go!! haha. then we said lets go. lucky for us the bus was like rite outside my gate, the bus driver opened the door and we went in.

haha, it was pretty small but it's much better than what we had. Stephen said that this is like the only bus that plays music, so it's the clubbing bus!!

hahahaha. so we went to spring and went to buy our tickets at the new mbo cineplex. it's super nice inside!!! like opera house!! haha we what movie.....i'll do review of it soon. haha.

so now i am home. tired...tomoro must go out buy lamp........no joke!! hahah

well actually it went quite well today, Business was pretty good and maths was a breeze!

These are the trials and they seem to be easier then last term!!

Today!!!!

It was pretty ok, not bad, except I was pretty alone without stephen and keith. But nevermind, had quite a few laughs today aswell as good/disappointing news!!

I got 68% for my I.T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(trials) how can man!!! i did so well in the exam but my assessment let me down(why does that always happen??) I was only 2 marks away from B, but Ms Irene don't wan!!! y she do this to me!!!!

We had our B.M Trial today but how can trial?? i'm not taking I.T and B.M for cambridge!!! hahaa nvm. I can probably get atleast C or B i don wanna get too exited!! so yea, hope for lower! heehehe.

Then later that day, in Econs, we had objective revision test!! I got 29/30!!! how sad is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just 1 question. I wan to cryyyy!!

anyway, hoping to go to indon in november and have fun with some friends, really hope i can go, but i don wanna go alone!! haha.

So i guess thats all

Movie Review: District 9

Peter Jackson(Lord of the rings) Produces this Sci-fi movie with new comer Neill Blomkamp.

District 9 is about aliens who come down to earth and passes all the normal cities finally running out of power right ontop of the city of johannesburg where they later are brought down to earth by Humans due to their health. 20 years later and their still on earth but have now adapted. They have learned the language and can now communicate with the humans. They have become a burden or "international refugees"

Proton is lucky. It's lucky because it's Malaysian, and Malaysian made companies are goverment helped and because of that Malaysia put Import Tarrifs(Charging high tax on imported cars). This then causes Malaysian to have very expensive cars!

To prove this here is an example:

High end Waja costs:RM64,888.00

This becomes around 11,000.00 Pounds

This can buy you a Volkswagen Polo or a Honda Jazz!

This are much better cars then proton yet it's the same price!

Another Example:

A Proton Perdana costs RM101,485.55

This is 17,613.00 Pounds

This can buy you a MINI, Audi or BMW.

Why would anyone want to buy a perdana wen they can buy an Audi!!!???

Malaysia protects it's car company too much. What i think they should do is slowly reduce the tariffs slowly but enough so that in a few years there's no more Tariffs. Then I would like to see how the proton does. Ofcourse it's not a simple as that. But, Just imagine what we could of had......WITHOUT Proton!!

new buses!!!

This is the new buses for the new bus system in kuching!!!!

Ok it looks kinda cheap and green doesn't look that great, but it's still far better than the ones that are on the road at the moment.

The bus company called Public City Link Sdn Bhd has invested to try and get the bus system going in Kuching. These new buses have a eco-friendly engine!! which means wen u go on the bus, u help save the earth!!! yay for that!! hehehe.

The bus is pretty small and comes only every 20 mins, but u guess as it starts off it's ok. their only starting two routes. one is in the Tabuan Jaya area, where i live!! and the other in petra jaya, which i expect to do very well.

Kuching need a proper bus service and lets all hope that the people in kuching will start helping out by using buses to reduce traffic and pollution. I want to use this bus to see whats it like and if it's good, i'll start using it more.

I wanna help kuching and help the world!! ;)

Cinemas-Cineplex

The MBO cineplex opens on the 09.09.09(nice date)

As it opens we see a new era in cinema comfort. everyone is renovating, refurbishing and thing they can do to make their cinema better.

Above is the outside of MBO in kuching.

Their aim is to get 60% of the market in kuching which will most likely be no problem to do as the standard of the rest even after they renovate is still very low.

But below is the new Riverside Cineplex which is now called lotus five star. They promise comfort like no other in kuching(thats what star says) with standard as good as GSC in kl.

but in the old days, kuching used to have many cinemas. too many actually!

Old Kuching had loads of cinemas. two of them are above:capitol and below:cathay.

the one below is one where my father used to sneak in as he did not have enough money to watch the film. he said he was small and the owner would not see him sneak in, though he did say he was caught and had to run away! XD
